The Design Process
Branding for the blockchain represents a big challenge for the ambiguous nature of the technology and the functionality of the application. Liquality was a very challenging and fun project to be involved in since the strategy sessions. Focusing on their unique value proposition we had to build an identity system that could be dynamic, fun, engaging and simple enough that spoke without words.

Reseach

Finding out the takeaways from the research we determine what opportunities we have to build on the existing environment.

• Create a memorable brand experience within this category because the majority of bartering
apps are very neutral and dull.
• Communicate to users the ability to sell and buy with a single profile
• Using graphics to transcend beyond language to be inclusive to more users

The concept of the logo shape was inspired by the idea of liquid fluidity. The two connecting spheres is a representation of transaction happening and mesh gradients show the effortless flow and diversity of transactions.

Brand Shapes

The brand shapes are used to represent equal and harmonious exchanges and transactions. Each shape is the same in width and height but differs in color and geometry. This highlights how items can be different, yet still carry the same value.
